Shaun The Sheep’s Circus Show

 

Last night I took the kids to see Shaun the Sheep Circus Show at Sands Theatre, Marina Bay Sands. Previously, I had taken Myla to Carnival of Animals, and both Myla & MJ to Slava's Snow Show at this same venue and also brought to us by Base Entertainment. They enjoyed those shows so much and were excited to be back at Sands Theatre for Shaun the Sheep.

Adamson isn't in Singapore (he's been so work busy and travelling A LOT for work... missing him) so I gave the 4th ticket to my brother Wesley. He's also been busy with his own adventures (Btw, did you see his last one- to brisbane).

Coming from a theatre (Just in NUS hahhaa) background myself, I appreciate amazing functional sets such as this one. It's not just lights and a backdrop but everything has function, and adds to the magic of the performance. The theatrics of it all... two thumbs up. 

It's perfect for very young kids too, because the language is all physical. Nothing difficult to comprehend. It's action packed too, and captivated both my kids for the entire performance. 

At intermission, I gave MJ the option of heading home, because it was way past their bedtime (my kids sleep at 6plus lol), and I'm always prepared to leave our late evening engagements early in case the 4 year old gets cranky. But he insisted on staying because he loved it. 

Myla was mesmerised with the acrobatics and ariel feats while Michael was roaring with laughter and captivated by the cuteness of it all. Each child experienced it differently. 

We ended the night with a character meet & greet before heading home. Can't wait for the next event (there's Baby Shark and then Kumar coming up in the next couple of months).
