I Love the Scent of YSL L'Homme on Men

A couple weeks ago when I went to the Yves Saint Laurent boutique at Orchard ION, David was with me. As the beauty advisor was helping me pick out a foundation shade (Click here to read about my new YSL Le Teint Touche Eclat and Forever Light Creator skincare), he was being nosey around the men's perfume section of the store.

When we left the store, and were having drinks with friends, suddenly I caught a whiff of him and he smelled so good. I asked him what he was wearing, because I haven't smelled that scent on him before... and he told me he had just sprayed on some YSL L'Homme just now. He liked the scent too.

Being the wonderful wife that I am... tadah!!
L'HOMME Yves Saint Laurent
The packaging is very masculine.. a chunky manly look. The bottle is simple, and no frills.. while the cap resembles the top of a bolt or screw.

There's no age bracket for using this perfume, but it does smell more sophisticated. So I would say, it suits men in their 20s and older.

When you first spray it it smells a bit sharp and citrusy. After 10 minutes, once it reacts with and settles on the skin, it has a very appealing scent.

The notes include Bergamot, Cedar, Ozonic Notes, White Ginger, Basil Flower, White Pepper, Violet Leaves, Cedarwood, Haiti Vetiver, Tonka Bean. And once the perfume settles on the skin, they all blend perfectly well together.

At the end of the evening, I took a whiff of my husband, and the scent was still there (although much lighter). It smelled soft and a little woody/musky.

This is quite a versatile fragrance. It's okay for the office and for casual outings and it is sexy enough for dates. I wouldn't say that this is a good one to wear for sports, it does not smell like a sporty fragrance. I would describe this scent as classy, sensual and luxurious.
