Them Big Ass Cock-les

Once you eat a giant cockle at Streets of Bangkok (it’s in Singapore ah) , you won’t go back to eating tiny ones.

And these aren’t even the biggest ones they’ve served before. They often have cockles as large as my whole palm! But of course it depends on the fresh stock for the day. But always tastes damn good.

Streets of Bangkok is at Timbre+ , Ayer Rajah Crescent.

Their stall design is an actual black camper van/food truck kinda thing. And it’s right next to the stage. You won’t miss it.

They have Thai boat noodles in the day... Mookata at night.
Their cockles are individually cleaned, even the inside. So no dirt or mud or clay on them at all.  Just fresh juicy cockle meat.
The chilli dip also... damn good. And you can’t go wrong having their mookata. Adamson cooks all the mookata for me I eat until so happy ...
The place is owned and ran bu one of my best friends in JC, Alwyn (you’ve probably seen him on my blog in the past)

And the beer selection at Timbre+ is quite the draw. So many to choose from. Craft beers, lychee beers, etc etc.
Adamson and I were totally taken by this lychee beer. Not too sweet, very refreshing.
Start early because Covid restrictions apply and alcohol for the night ends 10.30pm. But of course, the good company goes on forever. Love my date nights with bubba.
