Not Your Usual Looks for CNY 2015

Here are 3 Not-Your-Usual looks for Chinese New Year, I've picked from ClubCouture. It's a year of change so break free from the norms and live it!

Something Red
Hues of red are traditional for CNY but freshen the look with a print. Like with this Wrap Front Tartan Dress. Tartan is not usually associated with Chinese New Year but in red, it's festive and eye catching.  One dress is all you need to build a well-styled look. This wrap front dress with a flared skirt is flattering to most figures. Also very forgiving even if you eat too much CNY goodies.

Something Fun
This Bart Simpson Tunic ( S$29), is reminiscent of my childhood, I grew up watching the Simpsons, and still enjoy it today. Great for chill out spots during this lunar new year season. I'm loving this cute tunic. Join the Simpsons mania with this fashion print. It's comfy, it's quirky, and fun.

Something Cozy

The Alphine Coat is knitted and soft and cozy to wear. Great quality, stylish look and functional for just S$49. You can layer it over a chic pencil skirt, a dress, or even denim shorts to dress down. This is a timeless print and colour.
Whether you're off for travels this season to get away from it all, or you just want a comfy coat for the chillier days here.... or you just want to freaking layer this on anyway because it looks so chic.

The best part is, all these outfits will not only see you through this festive period but you can keep wearing them the whole year through and not look like you're re-wearing your CNY clothes again.  :)
