Have a peek into my vanity shelf

Just thought it would be nice to share with you what's on my bathroom shelves right now. I always try out new products but some products are just permanently on my shelf because I keep going back to them.

SKINCARE
-How many times do you wash your face daily?
Just twice, once in the morning and once before bedtime.
-What skin type do you have?
Dry
-What is your current facial wash?
I'm using a Neutrogena face wash
 -Do you exfoliate?
Once a week or so with Crème Simon scrub
-What moisturizer do you use?
Crème Simon moisturizer night and day. I switch between this brand and Hada Labo Milk which is very good too.

-Do you use eye cream?
nope... but sometimes I use the freebie sample ones.
-Do you or did you have acne prone skin?
YES when I was a teenager (from 15yrs old to 17yrs) it was so bad, I tried so many things, only Pro-Activ solutions worked for me and solved it once and for all.
Any Pimple Cream?
Ettusais Spot Corrector, I started using this when I was an ettusais ambassador many years ago. I still keep re-purchasing this one product from ettusais. Works very well for me, and very gentle on the skin.

MAKE-UP
-What foundation do you use?
I have 3 liquid ones at the moment, Maybelline mousse, Max Factor and Clinique.

-Do you use make-up base/primer for the eyes?
I use Wonderblur from The Body Shop which really gives a smoother finish. For eyes I have a primer from NYX but I always forget to use. Also I seldom use eyeshadows.
-How about concealer?
I don't use any. Can never blend properly or get the colour right, looks worse with concealer lol.
-What do you think of fake eyelashes?
I like them, easier to clean off compared to waterproof mascara.
-Did you know that you are suppose to change your mascara every 3 months?
Yes, but I don't keep track.
-What brand of mascara do you use?
I have 3 at the moment, Sonya, Maybelline and Brigitte
-Sephora or MAC?
Sephora for variety... I don't have any MAC stuff
-What makeup tools do you use in make up application?
Brushes (with soft natural hair is a must) and my pink beauty blender sponge

-What is your favorite eyeshadow (color or shade)?
Bronzey shades and browns
-Do you use pencil or liquid eyeliner?
Black liquid liner (I have a few but I like cheapo Rhomlon waterproof one), and black pencil liner (Estee Lauder Pure Colour Intense Kajal) for lining the water line.
-How often do you poke your eyes with an eyeliner pencil?
Haha... wtf, never.
-What is your favorite lipstick?
Loreal Color riche (velvet rose) is my main one. I also like my YSL lippie (54) it's a deep wine shade for special occasions.

-How about lipgloss?
Burts Bees is my main one but I do have a few others :)
-What is your favorite blush to use?
Pink shades look best on me, though some make up artists like to put brown shades or blusher or orangey shades on me ( I suppose because I am tanned) and it always makes my face look 'dirty'.
-Do you like drugstore makeup?
Yesssss. Maybelline, Revlon, ZA, Majolica, all cheap and good. But Silky Girl is quite disappointing in my honest opinion.
-Name a makeup crime that you hate?
Putting VERY thick black liquid eyeliner on (thinking it will make small eyes look big.. yeah maybe from very far away, but closer it looks bad).
-If you could leave the house using just ONE make up item, what would you use?
Eyebrow pencil (mine is dark brown from $2 store, Daiso). I love it so much that I have at least 4 of the same brand, same shade on my beauty shelf at any time. So scared it will discontinue so I always restock. Been using this Daiso eyebrow pencil for maybe 6 years or more now.
-Could you ever leave the house without any makeup on?
yes, usually when I'm lazy.. which is often
-Do you think you look good even without any makeup on?
No. I look like some maid or something lol. And I always hope I don't bump into anyone I know.

    1. If it's bad wrinkles I think only Botox can get rid. If it's fine lines, maybe try Estée Lauder advanced night repair range? My mum uses it and she mid 60s and hardly any wrinkles. But cld also be because not wrinkle prone in the first place . I'm the same, very dry skin, can flake.... But doesn't wrinkle
