Whipping Up a Whole Dinner with CP Foods from my Freezer

On the days I work from home (which is most days that I don't have to go anywhere for meetings etc)... my usual routine is getting up at about 7.30am, quick shower and then I do the washing + ironing (or wiping + mopping)... then I take Lola for a walk and pop out to the supermarket or run other errands in the late morning... then in the afternoon I'm on the computer finishing my drafts, answering emails, and working on my columns or blog. And it's really a race against time because my husband gets home at about 6.30pm... but I'm still typing away on the computer at 5 plus!
I desperately need a shower, I haven't cleaned the bathroom, or living room or made the bed... (I have no idea how our house gets so untidy each day!!). PLUS I NEED TO GET STARTED ON DINNER!!
Here's a sneak peek into my Freezer drawer... It's filled to the brim with CP Foods. These are a life saver. While I do enjoy cooking stuff from scratch...when time simply won't allow it... or if I'm craving a dish I don't know how to make ( or I know I make badly lol)... then I happily rely on CP Foods.
Especially when cooking for a small family or just for two people... you want variety ( example, David doesn't like eating the same things I love) but to cook 3 or 4 different dishes from scratch?? Where got time? And also it's not economical to make such small portions for just us.

Last week's quick dinner took me just about 10 minutes to prepare :) We had Stir Fried Chicken and Basil with Rice, Shrimp Wanton in Tom Yum Soup and Chicken Green Curry with Rice.
I just remove the CP packaging, cut a few slits on the plastic and then pop it into the microwave for 5 minutes.
While the first one is in there...
I make the Tom Yum Soup for the Wantons. Just add water and the sachet of tom yum paste into the bowl! Once the first dish is done cooking, I pop this bowl and another dish (basil chicken) into the microwave for 5 minutes.
Once its out of the microwave, it's ready to serve ...
Tadah! Our dinner in like 10 minutes! I did not even break a sweat :)
If I had to make all these from raw ingredients, it would easily take 2 hours... plus my cooking isn't that good so it would not taste as nice  -_-
That's the Chicken Green Curry and Rice for David... it's creamy, spicy, the chicken is tender.
My Stir Fried Chicken and Basil and Rice. Very spicy but yummy! I love Thai food! And the rice is soft and fluffy. There's actually more rice in the pack, but I don't put it all on my plate cos I'm a low carb eater.
Spicy Tom Yum soup to share... delicious Tom Yum flavour, and the shrimp wantons are tasty too.

This dinner was kinda Thai themed :) But CP foods also has Japanese Gyoza, and Teriyaki Chicken etc. Basically a whole range of meals and dishes.
