Häagen-Dazs Salted Caramel Ice-Cream Cocktails !

Have you tried the new Häagen-Dazs Salted Caramel Ice-Cream yet???

You can get it in pint form (YESSS!) or as part of the Caramel Attractions Minicup Multipack which comes with three preliminary caramel-centered flavours, Caramel Biscuit and Cream, Dulce de Leche and Vanilla Caramel Brownie.
This new flavour is an extraordinary indulgence comprising of delicious caramel ice cream with silky ribbons of salted caramel and delicate brittle. The delicious brown liquid salted caramel oozes from it and has nice crunchy bits of salted caramel too. It's not too sweet, it's smooth and oh so creamy.
Häagen-Dazs has recently collaborated with top specialty cocktail bars in Singapore and invited their award-winning mixologists such as Din Hassan from Bitters & Love, Ethan Leslie Leong from Maison Ikkoku and Zachary de Git from Tippling Club to create delectable cocktails incorporating the new flavour. Each of this bars has it's own creation and will take turns to showcase their luscious concoctions, starting with Bitters & Love from 18th March, Maison Ikkoku from 25th March and Tippling Club from 1st April. The cocktails will be available until the end of May 2013.
Last weekend, David and I went to Bitters & Love at 36 North Canal Road (that's near Boat Quay) to try out their Häagen-Dazs Passionfruit Cocktail . Bitters & love is a nice cozy bar with bespoke cocktails.
In this concoction, there's Häagen-Dazs Chocolate, Mount Gay Eclipse Rum, passionfruit, Fresh Ginger...
... and a whopping scoop of Salted Caramel Häagen-Dazs Ice Cream.
Now THIS is what I'd call a delectable cocktail! The first thing I did was to eat the Salted Caramel ice-cream... oh ... my... so delicious... and I haven't even got to the alcohol yet! The Ice cream fits snugly in half a passion fruit, fabulous presentation, and the mix of flavours will make your taste buds do cartwheels.
When it came to the cocktail itself, it was a super tasty creamy salted caramel milkshake with the distinctive flavour of Mount Gay Eclipse Rum. So smooth on the tongue, pretty on the eye and warm in the belly. It's a feel good cocktail that soothes and relaxes.
David was supposed to help me take photos but he was too busy indulging!
Do try the new Häagen-Dazs Salted Caramel Ice-Cream soon!
Or if you're heading out for a drink, try the Häagen-Dazs Passionfruit Cocktail at Bitters & Love.
Or.. Maison Ikokku's Salted Caramel Martini.
Or the Tippling Club's Salted Caramel Tom & Jerry.
