Have You Been Shopping for the Holidays?

The secret to building a fabulous wardrobe is to always be on the lookout for blogshops that launch regularly and have styles that you like. And every couple of weeks, you treat yourself to a few pieces you like... work within your budget (not dfficult, considering that blogshops are affordably priced). It's a whole lot better than going to a mall and blowing hundreds of dollars at one go and then be stuck with that wardrobe the whole damn year.

Here are a couple of my recent acquisitions...

The Duplicity Top from MGPlabel.com .
When it comes to casual wear, I am a tank and shorts kind of girl. The Duplicity Top puts an interesting twist to my casual attire. I love the colour blocking (they also have other colours) and the button front design.
Sure beats my usual white singlet. And more presentable too.

This is the Monroe Dress 2 from Gipsy Scarlet. It comes in a black and a nudish salmon colour as well.
I love marilyn monroe inspired dresses because it's a feminine and sexy look. But I can't pull off the actual Monroe braless white halter dress with the flyaway type skirt everyday. This design by Gipsy Scarlet is perfect because I can wear a bra comfortably under it, and the material gives the dress a nice drape.
