Review: Loreal's White Perfect Pearl

Product Review

L'Oréal Paris - White Perfect Pearl Brush On Foundation (launching in November). Will be sold at $32.90 at all beauty stores and Watsons. It's a foundation with high essence content. I tried the new foundation from Shiseido (with 80% essence) last month and I loved it! Ultra pampering on my skin. So I was keen to test this new one from L'Oréal too.

For me, the plus points are- the price, inclusion of SPF17 PA+++, the attached brush applicator and marine collagen.

I've been applying my liquid foundation with a foundation brush for many months now. I find it gives a better finish than a sponge. So this new foundation with a built in brush is great.

I do find the brush a bit heavier than the one I have been using for the last few months, but my other brush alone cost more than this whole foundation. So this is pretty good value for money. There's no streaking and the brush gives a smooth finish. You just have to use very light strokes.

The foundation itself has good coverage. I am using shade G3. The finish is radiant and dewy... but I did pat my face down with some powder because it turned out a bit too glossy for my liking. I also think setting with powder helps keep my make up on for longer.

For a foundation with essence that's lower to mid priced, I give this two thumbs up.
