Monochrome just means one colour scheme. Monochromatic dressing makes everybody look slimmer and taller instantly. Plus, it's always elegant, and it's an extremely easy way to dress. I use this look whenever I have events to go to and I want to look good without looking too loud.

It's a very simple colour palette but use texture and pattern to add interest to a monochromatic look.

Sheer fabric is back! Breezy see-through fabrics, from delicate chiffons to gauzy knits are making their way into my wardrobe. Sheer is great for all occassions, and with the right layering, it's a great look for meetings and work.

Now, don't go All Lady Gaga and don't dress Skanky Sexy Indecent Sheer like in the 90s! This season's sheer is all about draping, panels and layers.
