Ettusais Holiday Collection

The holiday season is a time to Party From Christmas all the way to the New Year! For a look that's glamorous... all you need is shimmer make up.

Platinum Star Eye Gloss ($36)
Yes... eye GLOSS. These are glosses with multi-color pearl particles. The texture is smooth and easy to spread. The end effect is glossy and shimmery... like Stars! On your skin, the glosses dry leaving a non-sticky finish that is long lasting.

The Platinum Star Eye Gloss comes in 3 sparkly palettes. Each palette has a dark shade and a light shade.
Gold
Pink
Silver
The best way to make eyes look bigger is to use light, pale and shimmery eye shadows over the entire eye, it really opens-up small eyes. I use my finger to apply the lighter shade over my entire eye lid, then I use the pointed tip applicator (comes with the palette) to apply the darker shade closer to my lash line. The shimmer from the different sized pearl particals in this product give my eyes a multi-dimensional look.

Tip: Pick a nude shade for the lipstick or use a light lip gloss so that your lips do not compete with your eyes.

Platinum Star Powder ($38)
Shimmer powder is the must-have product of the party season. The Platinum Star Powder comes in a soft pink colour and is subtle enough that it won't look as if you smeared glitter all over your face, but noticeable enough to give your skin radiance. Plus it is formulated with AC Control Oil to help prevent blemishes and Jojobar oil which conditions the skin.

The powder is lightweight (contains ultra fine pearls!). The little jar it comes in is so cute and it has a super soft mini-puff applicator... so you can add shimmer to your face anytime.

When dusted across cheekbones it adds a soft and subtle sheen to your skin. I use it along the bridge of my nose as a highlight too. If you're wearing a low cut dress to the party, be sure to apply it over your neck and chest too.

I couldn't wait until Christmas to use my new shimmer make up...already test drove it for a party in Perth. Thumbs Up!

    hey hj

did u go to a nudist beach in australia (i.e. pic on ur blog mast)?

    ReplyDelete
  3. nope not nudist beach. but was a private beach. :)

To the person who keeps leaving vindictive comments abt me AND my bf... give up. i'll just have to keep moderating u, which is annoying... considering that my time (and I'm sure yours too... unless ur a real sad case) could be spent doing better things.

If what was written touched a nerve with you means that you're obviously sensitive about it and you know that that is what people think of you and your bf. You could have just accepted and also the comment but the fact that you decided to delete is shows what kind of person you really are. Who's the sad one now, Holly?

  6. Hey... I've said it once before and I'll say it again. I don't delete or moderate any comments on my blog no matter how negative they are... unless they are offensive.

If you want to say I look skanky... or like a whore.. or fat .. go ahead. I've never deleted comments like that in the past, and I'm not going to start now.

But when people call my BF names ( when they obviously don't even know him), or make racist comments... I feel it's out of line and I will not tolerate it. especially if it's about the people I love and care for, makes me want to punch the noise maker in the mouth.

It is not about touching a nerve (as you assume)... I'm quite thick skinned actually... plus I'm sure about myself and my decisions in life. So go ahead and call me anything you want. But leave other people out of it.

Holly, what's going on with the new picture in the blog header?

It may be a picture that you personally like, and think makes you look sexy, but I'm not sure it gives a positive impression.

To my eyes, it takes titilation a little too far, and creates very vivid impressions of what the rest of the blog is going to be like.

Maybe that is the impact you're after, but I'm personally not a fan.

  8. Love your new blogpic HJ.

Not sure why ppl are sayin it's porn or not a good impression when it's exactly the same pose as your previous blogpic!

I love it. I loved the previous black and white one too. I see it as your trademark look.

Love the splash of colour it gives your blog

    Holly,
Thinking back to the comments I posted on your blog earlier, I realise it was not a nice thing to do. At the end of the day, it is your blog and your life. I don't think you intentionally mean to offend people but when you publicize your life, you will get all sorts of comments both positive and negative. So I want to take back what i wrote of you and your bf. Think i was having a bad day and decided to vent on the worng person which isn't fair to you.

  10. hey, it's ok. everyone has bad days. Often times, I've said things I didn't mean to ppl close to me and I hurt them.

That's worse! so no worries... we don't even know each other, so I never took it to heart. But I had to erase your comments because it implicated my bf whom I love and care for very much. and I dont think he deserves to be called names. hope u understand.

    hey holly!
i love to read your blog!!!it is more realistic compared to other ettusais's blogger!!=)

How do you find the Platinum Star Eye Gloss and the star powder? i wanted to get one for myself too!! =))

  13. Hi Brielle,

    thanks! :)

I love both the eye gloss and star powder.

If u don't have a highlighter yet, I think this is a great investment as it's not only a party shimmer but I double it up as a highlighter for normal make up looks too. (i put a little on my finger and swipe it on my browbone.)

But it is subtle. Well, tht's what I've found so far.. cos I use it sparingly, even for party looks.

    ---

LOVE the eye gloss, cos I'm the kind tht uses eyeshadow but then it kinds blends in and like.. I have to use A LOT in order for the colour to POP.. know what i mean? Maybe I'm tanned, or maybe it's the way my eye opens up, very little eyelid space shown when my eyes are open.

but the eye gloss (darker) shade is bold. and a little along the lash line, smudged out, gives a nice smokey effect. and then the ligther sparkly shade makes it glossy. :)
