The restaurant and bar are in the heritage wing of the hotel, which has kept the beautiful old world colonial facade which I love.
Their staff are warm, welcoming and attentive. Especially their manager Philippe whom we will always look for whenever we are there. You must check it out for a dinner & drinks date or weekend staycation.
We shared the beef tatare for a starter. OMG yummy fresh and tasty. *my eyes are rolling to the back of my head*For my main I had the lamb rack. I love that Mövenpick retains a lot of its Swiss heritage, even in the menu.. but also allows for Asian fusion. This particular dish had a yummy Tandoori twist.
David had the most succulent veal and rosti.
For dessert we shared the Apple Crumble... and then after .. we both thought- damn it.. we should have ordered one each! Too good. Too good!! I'm recommending this hotel for dinner or a special weekend treat.. not just cos I got married there so I'm biased.. lol.. but honestly the food and drinks are top notch. Highly recommended. We're going there again on Sunday for the Sunday Brunch that they've recently started. It's $120++ per person for the buffet and free flow champagne. Hello Oysters and seafood!! Momma's coming soon! ----- |
