I've been wanting to blog about all the cheating lying expats I know of in Singapore.
Those who dodge taxes, those who are married but have Filipino mistresses, those who just have a shag fest with local girls they meet online and string along until they're bored and ready to leave.
But I don't know if that's something you guys want to read about. Do you also know of such people in Singapore?

ReplyDeleteOoh Juicy! Haha! I deal alot with expats, working within the lux lifestyle industry and I've seen and heard it all. I do take mild offence though in when you mention the filipina mistress part because of 2 points.
ReplyDelete1. I'm a Filipina but I grew up here and I really really hated it and it hurts when classmates made fun of me saying stuff like why bother studying if I'm just going to be their maid in future etc.
2. I've met expats and their mistresses. Trust me, its not just Filipinas. Its Indons, Vietnamese, locals and any other Asian Nationalities apparently. So I'm curious why you singled out Filipinas when you wrote your post?
I hope you don't take offence when I said I took offence because I do understand that people have their own views on issues like this and I'm just stating mine and why. I hope you'll be able to tell me why you've written it that way as I'm curious.

ReplyDeleteBtw, didn't mean to offend filipinos. I just said filipino mistress because the stories tht I have the men's mistresses were filiipina... coincidence maybe. But i was just saying it as how it is. Didn't mean tht other races can't be mistresses, hookers, etc.
I think you should do the story. It's not just in SG...here in Dubai, the expats are the same. What I can't stand is that they will give you this guilty look when they are out with the mistress or whoever. They chose to do it, don't get all guilty and weird about it.

ReplyDeleteA lot of white expat men act like big shots not only in Singapore but I have seen this in cities like Hong Kong and Shanghai as well.But I guess you can't blame them when local girls throw themselves at them.I don't feel pity for these women when they get dumped after those guys are bored.No man is going to take you seriously and respect you if you just give it away so easily.I have no problems with local girls dating white men,but have some respect for yourself,don't let them think you are easy just because you are asian,have some pride.
