Hungary: Photos Schmotos

Been in Hungary 6 days now (I think). :( Already halfway through... it'll end soon. Thursday was a very fun day though.

Woke up early for breakfast. And spent the day lazing around.

Then in the afternoon, I had to get packing for a photoshoot in Budapast at 5pm.

That's GB napping... while I made the whole room a bomb blast site, preparing all the stuff I might need for the shoot with GB's long time mate.

But of course, I still had time to cam whore.
Then GB drove me to the capital. It's about an hour's drive.
Lots of pretty sights along the way.

Unfortunately, Margit Bridge was closed off so cars could not get through. Ahhhh!

We had to park near the Train station. Then buy tram tickets to get across the bridge by tram.

GB carried my bag for me all the way.

Got to the shoot on time. The photographer was Ervin Sperla, you can check out his photoblog Here... I will show you my shoot pics when I get them :)
We did some outdoor shots with the remaining natural light and then the rest was done in studio.
As usual, I managed to turn the changing room into a bomb blast site.

During the shoot, GB went to have dinner and read his book... at the end he came to pick me up... but it over ran a bit so he was waiting outside (IN THE COLD) for at least 30 mins! :( My poor baby... the things he would do for me. (I appreciate it very much. X)

On our way home, we stopped to get me a quick bite at McDonald's. McFarm burger is to die for. Too bad Singapore McDonald's is halal. :(

OK.. more photos tomorrow!!

Too bad Singapore McDonald's is halal??? So halal mac in SG is bad? tsk tsk.

  6. Yep. Too bad for me, cos then the menu is limited. And the mcFarm burger is pork, so they won't have it in Sg macs.

    why so sensitive?

    @HollyJean
hmn, I don't think Anonymous is being sensitive. Rather you are being insensitive. I thought you would know something about National Education being an ex-educator in Spore.Holly, Holly...

  9. I don't understand why some people's preferences get higher priority than other people's? Just because it is a religious preference?

But, my religion says that I can only eat pork, and Mac is being highly insensitive not giving me that on their menu.

(...and my religion also says every male has to wear beard, so all guys please grow it, otherwise you are really rude to me and I might impose a holy war on you infidels!)

G, now ya a step above the others with your smart ar$e answer. You cld have laid out your point of view in a more tasteful fashion.

Restaurants/cafes go 'halal' not coz of religious priority fyi. They want to cater to a broader market and pump in on da sales. That's not rocket science is it? Why don't alot of food joints go vegetarian? Cos market is small and they can't afford to cater to that.

And your last paragraph really shows your unclassiness and immaturity. It's very offensive, rich in ignorance and your pathetic sarcasm is so uncalled for.

  11. Giselle, what I was trying to show is not the economic interests of Mac, which are crystal clear and in their shoes I would do the same, take care of my profits.

But, instead, it is the fact that in the name of religions people can come up with any kind of nonsense, since religions, 'faith' is per definition baseless, as to believe in anything do not need any kind of rationale. It is enough to claim that it is my faith, maybe it is written in some kind of holy book and thus true, then it is all above anything else.

It is not rocket science either, is it?

About the last paragraph, who do you think you are to question my faith?

It's just a freaking harmless statement and things get blown out of proportion.

G, i kinda just skimmed through your reply pardon me coz I don't have tolerance and patience for garbage.

And.. Really? Questioning your 'faith'? More like EQ and brain cells. Lol.. Simple logic. If you want to comment carelessly on a public blog thinking ya all so smart and witty with your snide, dry humour, expect a response coz guess what??? Yes, it's a PUBLIC blog!! Wow at last ya catching on! Otherwise go vandalise your bedroom wall with your silly post and I assure you walls don't respond.

Anon 7.35, yea I do agree with you that it started out with a harmless comment which I too, don't see any big a deal. Subsequent comments after that were civilised till some prick bagged the jack a$$ award.

Oh G, don't bother replying to ME ok, it does feel nice for you to spare your time to justify yourself to me but really, I'm not interested in
a silly banter - kinda old for it. Just gonna move on to HJ and her awesome Hungary pics!

    Giselle,

I think the "freaking harmless statement" that Anonymous 7:35 PM, October 11, 2010 is talking about is HJ's initial statement-

"McFarm burger is to die for. Too bad Singapore McDonald's is halal."

And you managed to single that out and react by insinuating that it's an anti islam statment by saying - "So halal mac in SG is bad? tsk tsk."

    Tsk Tsk??

Anon 1.43, err what're you saying? I knew that statement was directed at HJ's post and in my reply, I don't know if you misunderstood, I did say I thought it (HJ's statement) was harmless too and not big a deal.

    And I didn't react to HJ's statement. :S That WASN'T my post.
