Everything is starting to normalise. The first couple of weeks after getting the new place, we were like fish out of water. Very overwhelmed. But now, I think we've both adjusted to the new space. Cleaning is no sweat... helps that Mark is a very neat person.
There's still NO art on the walls or Rugs on the floors... but I've eased off (stopped stressing myself ... and Mark)... and life is much easier. The only thing about new homes is that... if you don't get things done early... you kinda settle and then it never gets done... so I suspect a year from now, the walls and floors will probably still be sterile and bare!

Yesterday evening, we went to my brother Wesley's film screening at the Substation. Decided to go with a long dress... and colours all browny and tan. Very unlike me... but I just decided on a change. Plus I wanted to use my new bag... which is a distressed brown faux leather one which I got for just $5!!! No kidding... at a Charity fun fair (Assisi) a few days ago. Think it was some shop clearance stock, and they had BOXES full of bags. Quite a few different designs. But I only bought one. The rest weren't great designs.... but hey.. it WAS just 5 bucks!
Some readers emailed to say they saw me at the fun fair! Next time say Hi ..ok... :)

Last night... to go with my muted coloured clothes.... I went with a very natural but healthy look for the face. I used these items from ettusais -
eye essence ,
this powder,
this lip balm and
this blusher !

Saw this comment about me some time back... obviously from some bitter person who doesn't know me. But I was so tickled by it that I decided to finally get it printed on a tank top.
Materialistic Attention Seeking Skank. haha. I love it!

shit. I already made an appt to get my fringe trimmed tmrw! It got too long to leave across my forehead so thts why I've been waxing it up and off my face.
is that you sweeping the house in the first pic? haha i 'm surprised and impressed.i prefer your look in s factor and the look during the s factor girls selection interview where u looked raw and chinese w/o any make up or hair styling.
have u ever gone out with a chinese guy?what do u think of local guys?
You should keep your fringe long... You look really class and sophiscated with the fring up. It brings out your delicate face features...
You could sweep your fringe to the sides if they obstruct your vision
Pls dun cut them....plsssssssss

but answer in short is - yes. one of my longer term BFs was chinese. What do I think of them? Well the one I went out with turned out quite a cheat. BUT of course I can tar all Chinese locals with the same brush.
How do you achieve such even tan? as clearly seen from your tube dress... I always have the ugly bikini strap lines near my shoulder whenever I'm out in the sun

nice outfit...
BERN
.
wear really small bikinis is my tip lol. or at least those with thin straps... and move the straps around so it doesnt rest in the exact same position the entire time.
and don't over do it and burn yourself... tht will def leave bad tan lines. a little at a time, and it shld build up nicely. the worst thing u can do for your skin is be the Holiday Over tanner. the kind tht doesnt get sun most her life, then suddenly have 3 blasting days at the beach without any protection.
tube dresses/tops suits u very much holly!! ^^ however, the colour kinda of makes u look darker =x no offends... but eventually the overall look is nice~
Seeing u having a change at times is still Great too! ^^ could encourage ppl on having a different new approach on their own wardrobe style too~
All the best too holly!
Wayang- yeah... i love it.. can't wait to wear it and strut around like the SKANK that I am. lol.
anon10.15- wait la. it's a secret
holly, could you please write about how to identify whether a girl's tits are natural or implants??
Yes I agree with the rest of them, that you look so much better with your hair swept up. You've got a nice forehead there, so flaunt it! No offence, Holly but I thought the fringe makes you look a bit 'bimbo-ish'. This look makes you look more intelligent and fresh.
