I'm in Eastbourne at the moment.

Exhausted! Flight was rough... (no not turbulent, I meant tiring) ... and I didn't get much sleep so I'm expecting to get jet lagged in a couple of hours (SG night time)... it's only 10.50am here now.Once on the plane, Mark and I took our jeans off and put shorts on instead. So we were all comfy for the flight. And yet it was still barely bearable! I am soooo no looking forward to going back on that plane for another long haul one. Once at Heathrow (half an hour later than expected! Headwinds... yeah great buddy)... we got into our rented car.. and had another 1 and a half hours of travel to Brighton and Eastbourne. His parents live in eastbourne. Lunch in a couple of hours. So I'm going to slap a mask on my face and have a nap now... so dehydrated! View from our quaint little hotel in eastbourne. That's the sea in the background.. so pretty! But too cold for a monkey like me to pop out to take pics... maybe tomorrow. I really need tht nap now.

  12. I just came back from London, and like you the flight was tiring. And I had the same thinking as you, I do not look forward to coming back to Singapore, because of the long flight.

  14. I live in Milton Keynes, Buckinghamshire in a rather "unEnglish-like" town. It's in between Birmingham and London and in between Oxford and Cambridge.

My mum and dad are visiting at the moment and they took a while to adjust to the weather here too. It can look really sunny but the winds blowing make it really chilly.
