Mark and I have been househunting. Had a look at many condos in the East Coast (around Parkway) but we weren't too keen on any of them.
We like the modern fittings and colours of the new condos. But all the rooms were tiny, and the layout congested ( like they cramped too many blocks within one development). I liked an apartment at the Vertis, loved the black marble/slate modern kitchen there and their huge balconies but every window you looked out of faced another apartment/condominium development next door!
Will probably look at older developments in town next, so the rooms are bigger. But the shit thing about older condos is that their facilities are crap and their designs/fittings/colour are so ugly :(

Special thanks to FrenchFleurs for sponsoring my comfy (and cute!) checked dress which made buzzing around with our housing agent the whole day an absolute breeze!
I've been slaving in the kitchen for weeks (haha) so as a special treat, Mark sponsored dinner at OSO (on Bukit Pasoh road... near the Majestic Hotel bar). Food was real good... but I especially loved the foie gras there. Such a whopper of a serving. I hate it when some restaurants only serve a tiny slither of it... What am I? A midget?!

I'm not sure I understnd what you mean...:S
yes I was at Bugis Village today with my mom and dad. Then halfway through, they left.
And i bought some amos cookies (my fav) and Yaki tori sticks.. and walked around bugis junction(the mall) for about 20 mins, eating my yaki tori sticks. The a bit of sauce from it dotted my white singlet. (i was wearing white singlet, khaki/army green shorts and pink flip flops) So i went to the bathroom to get the dot off before it stained.
Then I proceeded to starbucks to buy a sandwich (take away) for Mark, hopped in a cab a went to meet him to go house hunting.
I don't understand why u wld say I carried myself like a hooker??? Like standing in some street corner or what?
But i was wearing a normal white lady's tank top. and khaki shorts from Fox! Fox is hardly a hookers haunt when it comes to clothes!
I'd understand it if he came to the conclusion tht I carried myself like a hooker, if I were wearing hot pants or a cheap lycra material slinky short dress from city plaza..... or if I looked like I was trying to pick men up...
But I was in casual clothes, and shopping with my Parents! And after they left, I was walking in the mall stuffing myself with sticks of Yaki Tori chicken!
SO I wld really like to know why I came across as a hooker. I'm quite curious about how anon 10.10 came up with this baffling conclusion
haha... that anon10:10's comments is somehow way out of point of his/her humble opinion?
if wearin a normal white lady's tank top and khaki shorts seems to u as a hooker...dan what u expect ppl to wear out in such hot morning/afternoon & even evening & nights could be HOT in Singapore, sweaters?? are u saying that female wearing normal white lady's tank top and khaki shorts are hookers? -_- stop being so stereotype pls?
anyway holly..how's ur house-hunting~ going smooth? :)
